The Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his successful and seamless ratification as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2026 election.
Governor Oyebanji was unanimously affirmed by 885 accredited delegates from the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State during the Special Nomination Congress held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti.
Fadugba described the ratification process as a clear demonstration of the governor’s outstanding performance, wide acceptability, and strong leadership, noting that the entire APC family in Ekiti State has once again spoken with one united voice.
He applauded the governor’s remarkable achievements across all sectors, including: Infrastructure expansion and road development,Economic growth and support for entrepreneurship.Revitalization of education and human capital development, Agricultural transformation and food security initiatives, Health sector upgrade and improved access to quality healthcare. Youth and women empowerment initiatives,Security enhancement and improved community safety,Social investment and welfare programmes for the vulnerable among others.
Fadugba added that Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated exceptional commitment to grassroots development by extending massive and unwavering support to local governments to ensure inclusive governance and sustainable progress. “Your Excellency has shown that development must reach every community. Moba Local Government is a proud beneficiary of your visionary leadership, and we will continue to stand firmly with you,” he stated.
The council boss assured the people of Ekiti State that returning Governor Oyebanji for a second term remains the surest path to sustained peace, economic stability, and accelerated development.
“With the overwhelming endorsement you have received today, Ekiti people can rest assured that our dear state is in safe and capable hands for continued progress,” he affirmed.
Hon. Fadugba also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Christiana Afuye, noting that her loyalty, administrative strength, and motherly support have contributed immensely to the success of the administration.
He expressed confidence that the people of Moba Local Government are solidly behind Governor Oyebanji and will mobilize massively to secure victory for the APC in the June 2026 governorship election.
“Moba remains a stronghold of progressive ideals, and our people are fully committed to ensuring that Governor Oyebanji’s good works continue beyond 2026,” he concluded.
