2027: Ex-Governor Fayose’s Son, Boluwatife, Joins APC in Ekiti
Ahead of the 2027 general election, Boluwatife Fayose, son of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his ward at Afao-Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area.
Boluwatife was officially received into the party by the APC chairman in the local government, Mr. Femi Olorunsola.
His joining the ruling party did not come as a surprise, as former Governor Fayose had earlier informed Governor Biodun Oyebanji that one of his sons was set to pitch his tent with the ruling party. Fayose, however, noted that he had advised his son to abide by the rules and leadership structure of the APC.
A party insider told Precise News that Boluwatife Fayose is expected to contest for a House of Representatives seat in the 2027 elections.
