The Consultative Committee of Engr. Kayode Ojo Campaign Organisation (EKO) has been reconstituted with the aim of delivering not less than 90 percent of total votes in Ekiti State to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid during the 2027 general elections.
The constitution of the new Committee to replace the disbanded Mr. Kayode Oluyemo led Committee where Hon. Lanre Fayemi served as Secretary became imperative, following some unresolved issues bordering on subterfuge and alleged financial impropriety among others.
However, to ensure effectiveness, aptness and far-reaching decision taking on sensitive issues, the team will be advising by “EKO Movement Elders Advisory Committee” headed by Professor Afolabi Popoola.
The Organisation Spokesperson, Femi Awojobi through a release said, the new Chairman, Hon. Adebayo Morakinyo was inaugurated on monday alongside other Committee members to include; Hon. Oguntuase Ilesanmi (Secretary), Mrs. Yakubu Bose (Treasurer) and Mr. Ajayi Daramola (Organising Secretary) at the Campaign Secretariat, Ajilosun Ado Ekiti.
Hon. Morakinyo urged all Kayode Ojo supporters across the state and beyond to begin aggressive mobilisation in support of President Tinubu by showcasing the president’s achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda to the public.

The former Deputy Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, said the group will engage with voters directly, particularly at the grassroots level, highlighting Tinubu’s accomplishments across the state to sensitise the people and keep them abreast of various policies and programmes being embarked on by the federal government.
President Tinubu’s agenda, which is aimed at rejuvenating the nation’s economy that had been in a coma before the present administration in the country, needs to be supported by all citizens.
Therefore, it is high time Nigerians were reminded and kept abreast of numerous measures, sacrifices, and frameworks coupled with the president’s achievements across the country.
The Kayode Ojo Team said it will engage, interact, and liaise with people at the grassroots level across the state directly on the need to give President Tinubu total support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The president must not get less than 90 percent of total votes during the 2027 general elections in Ekiti State. The projection is no doubt achievable through aggressive mobilisation and sensitisation of the people through strategic plans.
The group urges Nigerians, particularly Ekiti people, to register for the APC registration exercise and participate in the INEC continuous registration exercise at all times.
The campaign team of a 2026 governorship aspirant under APC in Ekiti State, EKO, says it plans to achieve its goal through aggressive radio programs, empowerment programs, sensitization campaigns, and one-on-one meetings with voters at the grassroots level.
The group assured the people of more dividends of democracy under President Tinubu, saying Tinubu’s foundation for good governance in education, infrastructure, health, agriculture, power, and economic recovery is commendable and must be appreciated by all.
