A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2026 governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Engr. Kayode Ojo, has reiterated his unwavering commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a transformative blueprint for national development and prosperity, particularly for the people of Ekiti State.
Ojo said his support for the President is rooted in firm conviction and confidence in Tinubu’s leadership style, noting that the administration’s determination and resolve to reposition the country have continued to inspire widespread support among Nigerians.
The assertion was contained in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti and made available to journalists by his campaign organisation’s spokesperson, Mr. Femi Awojobi.
The APC chieftain pledged to remain steadfast in working for the success of the party, while calling on members of his political structure, EKO TEAM, to actively participate in the ongoing APC e-registration and membership revalidation exercise by registering at their respective wards.
According to him, EKO TEAM, which aligns with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and remains a major bloc within the Ekiti APC family, will continue to mobilise support for the party’s growth and electoral success. He also urged party members and residents of Ekiti State experiencing challenges during the registration process to formally lodge their complaints at the APC State Secretariat in Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti.
Ojo commended President Tinubu’s administration, stating that in the last two and a half years, it has introduced policies and reforms aimed at economic recovery and sustainable growth. He added that despite initial sacrifices, Nigerians are beginning to witness positive outcomes of the national rebuilding efforts.
He further praised the President for the recent Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), describing it as a strategic move to deepen trade relations and enhance cooperation in key sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, logistics, and digital trade.
The governorship aspirant called on his supporters nationwide, particularly in Ekiti State, to remain loyal and committed to the APC, stressing that the party remains a united family with a shared vision for progress.
While appreciating his supporters for remaining calm and resolute in the face of alleged harassment, intimidation, and persecution, Ojo encouraged them to view the current challenges as necessary sacrifices and stepping stones towards restoring Ekiti State for the benefit of the masses.
He concluded with a note of optimism, saying, “He who laughs last, laughs longest.”
