Ekiti Youth Ambassadors has endorsed the governor of Ekiti state, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for a second term in office, saying he’s committed to the well being of the masses without any demarcation.
The youths who were in their large numbers converged on Ekiti parapo pavilion, Fajuyi, Ado Ekiti on Sunday, declared support for the governor to run for a second term.
The Coordinator of the group, Comrade Adenijo Olusola hinged the street endorsement of the governor on his various achievements and government of inclusiveness.
The Coordinator said members of the group were drawn from the sixteen Local Government of Ekiti state, said the reason why they endorsed the governor was that “in the past , the youths have either suffered selective recognition, outright abandonment or neglect but in the case of BAO, he has many youths in his government, values relationships, respects youths, understands street languages, prioritizes the welfare of the masses, openness and good governance. We have no doubt that with BAO, Ekiti residents will enjoy more dividends of democracy.”
IBUKUN fagbongbe, the financial secretary of BAO AMBASADORS said the governor deserved endorsement because he has done well in the areas of youths empowerment, infrastructural developments, inclusiveness .He advised the youths to be united for BAO, urging them to be peaceful.
On her part, Adedoyin Oguntoyinbo from Iyin Ekiti said “the governor has done excellently very well, he understands what grassroot means, he knows the needs of the masses, you don’t need to see him before your needs are granted. We youths of Ekiti are here to endorse him for a second term in the office. I advised APC leaders to support governor Oyebanji for Ekiti people to enjoy more dividends of democracy”
