The Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba has attributed the peace Nigerians are currently enjoying to the combative efforts and sacrifices of the military personnel whom many of them laid down their lives for others to live.

Speaking during an interdenominational service held at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun, Osan Ekiti, Fadugba
described the Armed Forces Remembrance Day as an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of the Nigerian Military men whose courage and commitment to defending the country’s territorial integrity have ensured the safety of countless lives.
“It is our moral duty to honour the memory of those who paid the ultimate price to protect our nation. Beyond words, we must demonstrate our gratitude by supporting their families and ensuring they feel the nation’s appreciation,” Fadugba stated.
The chairman also used the occasion to call on the people to continue praying for the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration, which, he noted, is firmly committed to advancing Ekiti State’s development agenda.
He also stressed the need for enhanced collaboration between government, religious institutions, and community leaders to foster an environment of mutual respect and support.
In his sermon, the officiating minister, Pastor Dada Emmanuel, encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their prayers for leaders at all levels, emphasizing the importance of divine wisdom in governance.
The pastor also prayed for the success of Hon. Fadugba, Governor Oyebanji, and President Bola Tinubu as they navigate the challenges of leadership, urging all citizens to support the armed forces in their fight against insurgency and insecurity.
