The Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, joined executives of the Moba chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) for the first prayer meeting of the year held on Monday, at Olowojorubu Hall, Moba Secretariat Otun Ekiti. The event, which aimed to set a spiritual tone for the year, was marked by prayers, discussions, and reflections on governance and development.
In his keynote address, Hon. Fadugba expressed profound gratitude for the collective support his administration has enjoyed since its inception. He acknowledged the critical role of the council’s NULGE in fostering harmony and development and specifically commended their recent endorsement of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) for a second term during an event in Ado Ekiti. He encouraged NULGE to extend similar support at the grassroots level, emphasizing that continuity in governance remains the cornerstone for achieving sustainable growth and rapid development.
Speaking on behalf of the NULGE members, the Moba NULGE Chairman, Com. Joseph Taiwo Adeseko, lauded the Chairman for his numerous accomplishments since assuming office. He highlighted the administration’s dedication to workers’ welfare and community development. Mr. Adeseko also presented the council staff’s requests, calling for prompt consideration and action to address pressing issues affecting their welfare.
The spiritual aspect of the gathering was led by Pastor Femi Afolayan, who delivered an inspiring sermon titled “Development Through Transformation.”He underscored the significance of individual contributions to societal progress, urging all present to embrace positive change in their personal and professional lives as a foundation for collective development.
