Psalm 90:12, says, “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”, in line with the Bible verse, the Executive Chairman of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area, Isan Ekiti, Hon Muyiwa Ajibola, has joined family, friends, political allies and well wishers to celebrate the former Governor of Ekiti state, Dr Kayode Fayemi as he clocks 60 years on earth.
Hon Muyiwa who described the former governor as an achiever; a reformer; master strategist, patriotic, orator, builder, witty, courageous, exceptional and visionary leader whose political and personal life is worthy of commendation and emulation.
In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists on Saturday, Hon Muyiwa Ajibola noted that the former Governor’s immense contributions to national and Ekiti politics has not only helped stabilize Nigeria’s polity but deepened democracy.
The statement reads, Dr Kayode Fayemi, a two term Governor of Ekiti state, (2010- 2014 and 2018-2022 ),former minister and a former Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum( NGF) has contributed immensely to the development of Nigeria and Ekiti state via your policies and programmes that promote good governance which successive governors in Ekiti and other states will continue to emulate. “

The chairman who said the former Governor remains his mentor and father wished Dr Fayemi sound health and long life to continue his selfless service to humanity.
