In support of the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in 2026, the Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele Fadugba led staff of the local government in a street walk, endorsing the governor.
On Tuesday, the staff of Moba Local Government and residents turned out in their large numbers to sing praising the good works of governor Oyebanji, Saying he’s made Ekiti proud, hence he deserved a second term.
The street Walk tagged ” Say no to anti BAO” second term in MOBA Local Government kick-started from the local Government through the palace of the Oore of Otun where they got the blessing of the monarch before criss-crossing the six towns that made up the local Government.
While speaking, at the palace of Oore Otun, the Chairman of Moba Local Government said the street walk was in solidarity and appreciation of Governor Oyebanji’s people’s oriented programmes and massive development in Ekiti State.
He said the governor’s giant strides in all sectors of governance ranging from good road network, infrastructure and social development, free healthcare services, education, agriculture and masses welfarism were commendable.
The chairman who added that one good turn deserves another, said Governor Oyebanji had performed creditably well in all sectors, by restoring the hope of Ekiti people.
He called on sons and daughters of Moba Local Government to support the re-election of the governor, while admonishing them to be wary of politicians that might want to deceive them against supporting the governor. Hon, FADUGBA said ” Ekiti is safe with Governor Oyebanji”
The street walk took place in Otun,
Osun, Epe, Ira, Iro, Osan where residents trooped out to join the moving train.
While speaking, the Oore of Otun, HRM, Oba Adekunle Adeagbo commended the governor and the chairman for their impacts in the state and Local Government, saying the duo had represented the state well. Oba Adeagbo also endorsed Governor Oyebanji for a second term.
