The Chairman of Ekameta Local Council Development Area, Hon (Dr) Leye Adeniji has been commended for inaugurating the Council’s administrative building and motorized bore holes in the LCDA.
Speaking at the Commissioning of the administrative building, traditional rulers, eminent personalities and residents of the LCDA commended the giant strides of the chairman for providing good governance and prioritizing the needs of communities of the LCDA.
In separate remarks, the Olohan of Erijiyan Ekiti, Oba Adegoroye Omoseebi, the Olupole of Ipole Iloro -Ekiti Oba Oladele Babatola, the former Chairman of the LCDA Hon. Kayode Oyebola, the former Vice Chairman of the LCDA- Hon Ebenezer Adebusuyi, one of the party leaders in the LCDA- Elder Samuel Ajayi expressed gratitude to the Chairman for completing the project and several other interventions for residents’ benefits
Earlier, the Chairman of Ekameta Local Council Development Area, Dr Leye had appreciated the governor, Biodun Oyebanji and party leaders who allowed him to contribute his quota to the development and well being of his people. The chairman who could not hide his joy for completing the administrative building and borehole at the permanent site of the LCDA said ” I am glad that this project is completed and I want to assure you that I will continue to use the available resources to provide facilities that will enhance the standard of living of our people ”
While appreciating the support of the three communities, the chairman said “the administrative building was jointly constructed through private public partnership between the Ekameta LCDA and the three communities in Ekameta ( Erijiyan, Ikogosi and Ipole Iloro -Ekiti)”
The chairman who reiterated his commitment towards ensuring adequate security of lives and properties presented two motorcycles to security agents in the LCDA to strengthen security.
The Chairman saluted the efforts of Ekiti state Governor Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for creating an enabling environment for local Government Chairmen to bring development to their people at the grassroots.
Dignitaries at the commissioning include: Traditional rulers, the Chairperson, Political office holders in the LCDA, the Career Officers led by the Head of local government Administration Dr Sanya Olofinbiyi, party Leaders, Ekiti West NULGE Executives and friends of the LCDA.
