It was a day of joy and celebration as Elder Kayode Ogunyemi joyfully gave his daughter, Kehinde Tolulope to Oluwaseye Bolaji, in a marriage well-attended holy matrimony that drew dignitaries, friends, and family from far and near.
The father of the bride who described the day as his happiest day to witnessing the wedding ceremony of his glorious supportive, humble, prayerful and respectful daughter. He prayed God to bless the union while urging the newest couple to love each other dearly, contented and be more prayerful as they embark on the journey of everlasting love.
The solemnization of the union was held at CAC Oke-Isegun DCC, Oke Ila Headquarters, Ado Ekiti, where the officiating ministers joined the couple in holy wedlock. The church auditorium was filled to capacity, as the congregation joined in prayers and thanksgiving to God for the new home.
The colourful engagement ceremony had earlier taken place on Friday at AB Hotel, Olora, Ado Ekiti, where both families exchanged traditional rites in line with Yoruba customs.
After the church service, the reception followed at the Great Eagle Hall, Ajebandele, Ikere Road, Ado Ekiti. The grand reception was equally filled to the brim as guests from all walks of life thronged the venue to felicitate with the families. It was a lively atmosphere, marked with music, dancing, sumptuous meals, and heartfelt goodwill messages to the couple.
Speaking at the event, the father of the bride, Elder Kayode Ogunyemi, appreciated God for making the glorious day a reality. He expressed deep gratitude to families, friends, and associates for honouring the occasion despite their busy schedules. In his words, Elder Ogunyemi prayed that “good things will never cease in the midst of everyone present” He urged the couple to love each other and be more prayerful while the mother of the bride, Mrs Comfort ADENIKE Ogunyemi expressed happiness to witness the glorious day; she prayed God to make the union blissful and fruitful . She equally appreciated all the attendees, as she wished them safe trip to their different destinations.
The event remains a memorable celebration of love, family, and friendship, as the new couple, Oluwaseye and Kehinde from Ilupeju Ekiti and Ise Ekiti were ushered into a blissful marital journey with prayers and blessings.
