Comrade Ogunleye Olakunle Olanrewaju, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on State Capital and Human Development Authority, has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the unprecedented show of support he received during the submission of his nomination and intention forms at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat, Abuja, on Wednesday, ahead of the party’s governorship primary election slated for October 27, 2025.
Hon. Ogunleye in a chat with PRECISE NEWS, described the massive support as a clear indication of the governor’s wide acceptance, both within the party and across the state. He commended Governor Oyebanji’s leadership style, which he noted has brought about life-changing achievements to the people of Ekiti.
According to him, the governor’s people-oriented programmes and projects have touched critical sectors, including infrastructure, youth empowerment, and human capital development, thereby improving the quality of life for residents.
“The achievements of Governor Oyebanji are more than enough to give him a resounding victory, not only at the APC primary but also in the 2026 governorship election,” Ogunleye said.
He, however, urged Ekiti residents to continue to support the governor and the APC administration, stressing that sustained development in the state can only be achieved through unity and collective commitment to progressive governance.
