The people of Moba Local Government have joined other well-meaning Ekiti indigenes in congratulating the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his unanimous adoption as the sole gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming 2026 Governorship Election.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, he described the governor’s adoption as a well-deserved recognition of his sterling performance and selfless service to the people of Ekiti State.
Hon. Fadugba applauded Governor Oyebanji for his transformative developmental strides across all sectors — including infrastructure renewal, youth and women empowerment, agricultural development, improved workers’ welfare, and strengthened local governance — all of which have significantly uplifted the standard of living in the state.
He noted that the decision of the APC to rally unanimously behind the governor underscores the people’s confidence in his visionary leadership, humility, and inclusive governance style.
“Governor Oyebanji has proven to be a true servant-leader whose passion for Ekiti’s progress is evident in every community. From the expansion of road networks to the renovation of schools, improved healthcare delivery, and empowerment initiatives, his achievements speak for themselves,” Hon. Fadugba stated.
He further affirmed that the people of Moba Local Government are solidly behind the governor, pledging unwavering support for his re-election and expressing optimism that a second term would consolidate the unprecedented progress already achieved.
“On behalf of the people of Moba Local Government, I reaffirm our total loyalty and support for His Excellency. We stand united with him as he continues to build a prosperous and peaceful Ekiti where every citizen can thrive,” he added.
