Ekiti State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed Toba Apata SAN as a commissioner nominee in the state.
The confirmation was sequel to submission and adoption of the report of the house committee on Judiciary and legal matters chairman, Mr Tajudeen Akingbolu who had earlier screened the Attorney general nominee, Mr Apata and considered him worthy for the job.
Members at plenary presided over by the Deputy speaker, Hon. Hakeem Jamiu unanimously agreed with the submission of the committee.
The House also permitted the governor to appoint ten special Advisers. Also, the house recthe nomination of Prof Femi Akinwumi as the state Universal Basic Education Board chairman.
