The Acting Centre Director of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Ilupeju-Ekiti Special Study Centre, Dr. Musbau Olabanji Oyebode, officially assumed duty on Monday.
In a statement by Prince Amusa Rasaq said the Acting Director was warmly received by the Centre’s Consultant, Prof. Bukola Oyawoye, alongside Prince O. J. Oniyelu and Alh. Prince Amusa Rasaq.
Prof. Oyawoye led Dr. Oyebode on an extensive tour of the facility, introducing him to the various units and amenities within the University. She thereafter handed over the keys to the different offices, signifying the official transfer of administrative responsibilities.

In his remarks, Dr. Oyebode expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the Centre.
“I am deeply honoured by the reception accorded to me today. The facilities I have seen and the dedication of the team give me confidence that we can achieve remarkable progress together. I am committed to lifting this Centre to greater heights and ensuring it becomes a model of excellence within NOUN,” he said.
He added: “My doors will remain open for innovative ideas, collaborative efforts, and constructive contributions from all stakeholders. Together, we will build a Centre that Ilupeju and Nigeria will be proud of.”
