The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the good people of Moba Local Government, Ekiti State, and Nigerians at large, as Christians across the world commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas message, Hon. Fadugba described the season as a period of love, sacrifice, humility and hope, urging residents to imbibe the enduring lessons inherent in the birth of Jesus Christ. He called on the people to celebrate in moderation, promote peaceful coexistence, and extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged, widows and the vulnerable in society, noting that true celebration is found in sharing and compassion.
The Chairman assured residents of adequate security during and after the festive period, stressing that necessary arrangements have been put in place in collaboration with security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property across the local government. He enjoined citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious movements or activities to the appropriate authorities for swift action.
Hon. Fadugba expressed profound appreciation to residents of Moba Local Government, political leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders and other critical stakeholders for their continuous support and cooperation, which he said have greatly enhanced the success of his administration. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to people-oriented governance, promising to continue serving diligently and responding to the needs and aspirations of the people.
The Chairman also called on residents to continue to pray for peace, progress and stability in Ekiti State, while coveting their prayers and support for the victory of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in his second-term bid, noting that the Governor’s leadership has brought meaningful development and good governance to the state.
He further appreciated the entire staff of Moba Local Government for their dedication, loyalty and professionalism over the past two years, as well as his family members for their unflinching support and understanding, which have contributed immensely to the achievements recorded so far.
