Ekiti State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed Mr Oyebode Akintunde, Dr Filani Oyebanji as commissioners and Mr Olatona Olaniran Rufus as chairman, Ekti State Internal Revenue Services.
Governor Biodun Oyebanji had earlier forwarded the names of the nominees for confirmation which was done at the plenary on Wednesday, chaired by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Hakeem Jamiu
Recall that Mr Oyebode and Filani served as Commissioners for Finance and Health during Dr Kayode Fayemi’s administration.
Also, Hon Jamiu presented governor’s request seeking approval for the 2023–2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) which was unanimously approved by members of the House.
Meanwhile, Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji will on 3rd November, 2022 present 2023 budget to the state House of Assembly.
In a statement made available to journalists by the Clerk of the House, Mr Tola Esan in Ado Ekiti, says the presentation will take place at the Hallow Chamber, Assembly complex by 10am .
The statement further enjoined all
Government functionaries, political leaders, traditional rulers, religious, labour leaders, and members of the general public to attend the ceremony.
