Ilupeju Ekiti witnessed a remarkable and historic moment as Sir Dipo Ajayi Foundation (SADAFF) rolled out millions of naira in grants and cash support to residents during its community empowerment and award ceremony held in the town on Monday.
At the event, the foundation honoured Alhaji Prince Amusa, PRO Emeritus, with the prestigious “High Passion for Community Development Award” in recognition of his outstanding commitment and selfless contributions to the growth and development of Ilupeju Ekiti.
Speaking at the ceremony, the founder of the foundation, Sir (Chief) Dipo Ajayi, described Alhaji Prince Amusa as a dedicated community leader whose consistent efforts have positively impacted education, social welfare, and grassroots development in Ilupeju Ekiti. He noted that the award was instituted to celebrate individuals who have demonstrated uncommon passion, integrity, and sacrifice in community service.
The Coordinator of SADAFF further highlighted that the empowerment programme cut across various sectors, including scholarships for indigent students, financial support for widows, and grants for community development projects, all aimed at improving the living standards of residents and promoting sustainable development in Ilupeju Ekiti.


In his response, an elated Alhaji Prince Amusa expressed deep appreciation to Sir Dipo Ajayi and the foundation for the honour, describing it as a call to do more. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the progress of Ilupeju Ekiti, stressing that the town remains a noble community that deserves collective efforts from all sons and daughters.
He also commended the Sir Dipo Ajayi Foundation for its consistent humanitarian interventions, noting that such initiatives complement government efforts and inspire unity, hope, and development at the grassroots.
