The National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMB), Ekiti State Chapter, has announced plans to organise an enlightenment workshop to educate its members on the provisions and implications of the new tax law.
In a statement made available to Precise News in Ado-Ekiti, the association said it has engaged a renowned tax expert, Prince Adebolu Ayodele Samuel, FIDRN, FCTI, FCA, to facilitate the workshop and share his vast professional experience with Managing Directors and top executives of microfinance and other financial institutions in the state.
According to the statement, the workshop is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Onward Hotel, Ilupeju-Ekiti by 12:00 noon. The association said, the workshop is part of its ongoing efforts to ensure members are adequately equipped with up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax regulations and compliance requirements.
NAMB, Ekiti Chapter, urged its members to attend the workshop, describing it as a timely and impactful session that will help participants better understand the new tax regime and enhance institutional compliance.
Prince Adebolu Ayodele Samuel, an indigene of Ado-Ekiti, is a retired Director of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the Managing Partner of Ayodele & Ayoade Professional Services. He is also an AI Compliance Certified Consultant of the University of Texas at Austin, with decades of experience in accounting, taxation, and revenue administration.
Over the years, Prince Adebolu has built a reputation for leading high-performing teams that consistently surpassed revenue targets, while contributing meaningfully to national development through effective tax policy implementation. His passion for knowledge sharing and community development has seen him champion several grassroots tax compliance initiatives across Nigeria.
Notably, he recently organised a self-sponsored Community Enlightenment Workshop on the New Tax Regime in collaboration with the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Ado-Ekiti and District Society, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Ekiti State Chapter, Tax Experts in Ekiti State, and the Ado-Ekiti Patriot Front (APF). The workshop was held on December 17, 2025, at AB Hotel and Event Centre, Ado-Ekiti.
He has also featured as a guest speaker on the Ekiti State Broadcasting Corporation’s Ajoro programme, where he led public enlightenment discussions on the new tax laws.
