A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Senator Ayo Arise, has called on party members across the state to actively participate in the ongoing APC electronic registration exercise at their respective wards.
Arise made the call in a statement issued from the United States of America and made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday.
He also urged Ekiti residents who are members of other political parties to take advantage of the exercise to join the APC, noting that broad participation would further demonstrate support for the party and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to him, the APC remains a party with policies and programmes capable of positively transforming the socio-economic conditions of Nigerians.
He said active participation in the e- registration exercise would enable Ekiti people to further identify with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which is aimed at national development through wide-ranging reforms.
“The APC is a party with policies and programmes capable of turning around the past and current conditions of citizens positively. Ekiti people need to participate actively in the e- registration exercise to further identify with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Arise stated.
The former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation commended President Tinubu and the APC leadership for introducing the e- registration initiative, describing it as a major step toward repositioning the party and strengthening internal democracy.
He noted that the exercise would give party members a stronger sense of belonging, enhance inclusiveness, and safeguard their fundamental rights within the party.
Arise further urged APC stakeholders in Ekiti State and across the country to mobilise their followers and encourage massive participation in the registration exercise, describing it as an opportunity for Nigerians to become bona fide members of the party and pursue their political ambitions at all levels.
