Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oye Constituency II have affirmed and endorsed the candidature of Chief Mrs. Kemisola Olaleye to represent the constituency at the Ekiti State House of Assembly in the 2027 election.
The endorsement took place at the constituency headquarters in Ilupeju-Ekiti, where party leaders and executives from across the wards gathered in large numbers to affirm their support for her candidature.
Among the leaders present at the meeting were Otunba ogunsakin Samuel , APC Local Government chairman, Chief Alonge (Ilupeju Ward 2), Hon. Sunday Adunmo (Ilupeju Ward 2), Hon. Olumide (Itapa), Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba (Itapa-Osin), Mr. Layi Folorunso (Ire Ward 1), Hon. Dele Egbe (Ire Ward 2), Hon. Falade (Omu-Ijelu), Chief Joseph Ogundana (Ilupeju Ward 1), and Chief Kayode Ojo (Omekun)

Also in attendance were the Princess Adesola Bamisinle chairman Oye Local government, Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, member representing the constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Idowu Odebunmi and all the councillors in the constituency.
Speaking during the meeting, the leaders described Chief Olaleye as a reliable, dependable, committed and loyal party leader, noting that the endorsement placed greater responsibility on her to continue working for the progress of the party and the development of the constituency.
While conducting the endorsement exercise, the Returning Officer, Hon. Sunday Adunmo, called for the affirmation of Chief Olaleye’s candidature. Party leaders and executives from Ilupeju Wards 1 and 2, Ire Wards 1 and 2, Itapa-Osin Ward and Omu-Ijelu Ward unanimously endorsed her to fly the party’s flag in the 2027 House of Assembly election.
In her acceptance speech, Chief Kemisola Olaleye expressed gratitude to the party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in her. She commended their dedication to the growth and expansion of the APC in the constituency and assured them that she would not take their support for granted.
She further reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to the party and pledged to continue working diligently for its success and the overall development of Oye Constituency II.
