A whistle-blower has petitioned the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) over alleged abuse of office, financial misconduct, and intimidation involving a State House Archives official in Abuja.
The petition, addressed to ICPC Chairman Akin Oyegoke, identified the official as Priscilla Dombin, a civil servant seconded from the National Archives of Nigeria.
According to the petitioner, Dombin is currently facing a criminal case before a magistrate court in the Federal Capital Territory over an alleged N2 million vehicle fraud. She was accused of collecting the money under the pretext of securing an SUV from the Nigeria Customs Service, which was neither delivered nor refunded.
The petitioner also alleged threats, intimidation, and attempts to discredit him after he demanded a refund, including claims linking the dispute to a failed personal relationship—an allegation he denied.
In a separate claim, Dombin was accused of attempting to privately sell historical artefacts, including a colonial-era Africa General Service Medal, raising concerns about the handling of national assets.
The whistle-blower further questioned her prolonged secondment at the State House and alleged that an earlier administrative probe was halted without explanation.
He has urged the ICPC to investigate the allegations, describing the case as a test of accountability and transparency within government institutions.
