A legendary musician in Ekiti State, Taiye Ezekiel Salauka popularly known as ‘Arole Elemure’, has pleaded with the Governor of the State, Biodun Oyebanji, to intervene in his musical career, pledging his unalloyed support for his re-election bid.
Speaking with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the musician said he has been actively supporting the governor since 2023 through musical promotions and public engagements aimed at projecting the achievements of the administration.
According to him, despite his consistent efforts in promoting the governor’s programmes and policies through his music which has been commended both locally and abroad, he has not had the opportunity to meet the governor personally.

Arole Elemure explained that he had made several attempts to meet the governor, including, but had not been able to secure an audience.
He therefore appealed to Governor Oyebanji to grant him the opportunity to meet with him, noting that such recognition would serve as a major boost to his music career and encourage him to continue supporting the administration.
While commending the governor for what he described as remarkable developmental strides across various sectors of the state, Arole Elemure described Oyebanji as a visionary and futuristic leader whose administration is bringing progress to Ekiti State.
He also expressed appreciation to the Director General of Bureau of Community Communication, Mary Oso-Omotosho for her support and encouragement over the years.
Reaffirming his loyalty, Arole Elemure sworn his allegiance to the Governor and remains committed to using his music and influence to promote the government’s programmes and policies.
His words, “I have been actively supporting the governor since 2023 through musical promotions and public engagements aimed at projecting the achievements of the administration. Through my music and performances, I have consistently promoted the programmes and policies of the government, and my efforts have been well received both locally and internationally.
“Despite my consistent efforts in promoting the governor’s programmes and policies through my music, I have not had the opportunity to meet the governor personally. I have made several attempts to meet him, including visits to Daramola’s area in Ado-Ekiti, but I have not been able to secure an audience.
“I humbly appeal to Governor Biodun Oyebanji to grant me the opportunity to meet with him. Such recognition will serve as a great encouragement and a major boost to my music career, while motivating me to continue supporting and promoting the administration through my craft.
“Governor Oyebanji is a visionary and futuristic leader whose administration is bringing remarkable development across various sectors of Ekiti State. I remain loyal and committed to using my music and influence to promote the programmes and policies of the government”.
