The Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has congratulated workers in the council on the occasion of the 2026 International Workers’ Day, praising their resilience, dedication, and unwavering support toward the growth of the LCDA.
In a statement released to mark the celebration loop, Oniyelu described the workforce as the backbone of the council’s administration, noting that their commitment to duty has significantly contributed to effective service delivery and grassroots development.
He commended the workers for their diligence and perseverance despite prevailing challenges, assuring them that their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
“Your resilience, loyalty, and dedication to duty continue to inspire our administration. You have remained steadfast in ensuring that the business of governance at the grassroots is not hindered, and for this, I sincerely appreciate you,” the chairman said.
Oniyelu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling and conducive environment that will allow workers to discharge their responsibilities without hindrance. He emphasized that the welfare of workers remains a top priority, pledging continued support to enhance their productivity and job satisfaction.
“We will continue to provide the necessary support and conducive atmosphere for you to perform your duties effectively and efficiently. Our administration is committed to ensuring that you work in an environment that encourages growth, safety, and excellence,” he added.
The chairman also assured workers that his administration would remain responsive to their needs, promising to sustain policies and initiatives that promote their well-being and professional development.
