Renowned cleric, Sam Olu Alo, has urged Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, to remain responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people as he begins another term in office.
In a statement made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Hon. Deji Ogunbusuyi, the cleric emphasized the importance of servant leadership, noting that such a leadership style would help sustain the goodwill and widespread support the governor currently enjoys among Ekiti residents.
Prophet Olu Alo also advised Governor Oyebanji to operate an all-inclusive administration by carrying along stakeholders, political groups, and communities across the state in the governance process. According to him, inclusive governance remains essential for achieving sustainable development and fostering unity in Ekiti State.
While congratulating the governor on his re-election victory, the cleric urged him to build on the achievements of his first term, which he said earned him the confidence and renewed mandate of the electorate.
He observed that the people of Ekiti rewarded Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to infrastructure development, agricultural growth, and social welfare programmes with another four-year tenure.
Prophet Olu Alo further offered prayers for the governor, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength, and divine protection as he embarks on a new term of service.
He expressed confidence that God would guide the governor’s decisions and direct his steps towards delivering greater dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti State.
