The Vice-Chancellor of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere, (BOUESTI), Prof. Babatunde Omojola, has heartily congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his well-deserved re-election for a second term in office.
Speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the University, Prof. Omojola described the Governor’s victory as a triumph of visionary leadership, purposeful governance and the enduring trust between a leader and his people. According to him, “when diligence meets dedication and service is rendered with sincerity, the people invariably respond with renewed confidence.” He noted that the Governor’s re-election is not merely a political victory but a resounding endorsement of a leadership style anchored on inclusiveness, humility, and measurable impact.
The Vice-Chancellor observed that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has continued to illuminate the path of progress in Ekiti State through strategic investments in education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare and economic development. He added that the Governor has demonstrated that true leadership is not about occupying an office but about positively transforming lives.
Prof. Omojola particularly appreciated the Governor’s commitment to the growth and advancement of BOUESTI and noted that under the Governor’s watch, the University has witnessed remarkable milestones and increasing support, creating an enabling environment for academic excellence and institutional development.
While praying that the Governor’s second term would be marked by greater accomplishments, enduring peace and unprecedented development, Prof. Omojola wished him the wisdom, strength and divine guidance required to continue steering Ekiti State towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
The Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed the University’s commitment to partnering with the State Government in promoting educational excellence, innovation and sustainable development for the benefit of present and future generations.
