Family members, friends, associates and church leaders gathered in Ibadan to celebrate the 80th birthday of Elder Samuel Esan Komolafe, describing him as a compassionate, selfless and devoted Christian whose life has positively impacted many people.
The colourful celebration, held at the A3 Hotel and Suites Hall, Power House, Ojoor Expressway, Ibadan, attracted dignitaries from different walks of life, who paid glowing tributes to the octogenarian for his exemplary lifestyle, generosity and unwavering commitment to God and humanity.
Speakers at the event described Elder Komolafe as a loving and caring father, whose dedication to his family and Christian faith has earned him admiration from all who have come in contact with him. Many of the guests noted that one of his outstanding virtues is his quiet generosity, saying he prefers to assist people without seeking recognition or public attention.
His children, Mrs Funke, Mrs Bose and Mr Femi Komolafe, expressed profound appreciation to their father for his unwavering love, sacrifices, prayers and steadfast support throughout their lives.
They acknowledged that his guidance, discipline and encouragement had contributed immensely to their success, praying God to grant him good health, greater strength, long life and continued prosperity.
The event was graced by numerous ministers of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), family members, friends and well-wishers.
Among the dignitaries present were the Immediate Past National Youth President of the Ilupeju Youth Development Association (IYDA), Engr. Femi Fagbemi, the National Youth President of IYDA, Comrade Law Ibitoye, alongside other distinguished guests.
The celebration featured prayers, goodwill messages and thanksgiving as guests joined the Komolafe family in celebrating a life dedicated to faith, service, humility and the upliftment of others.
