The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are set to strengthen collaboration on youth empowerment, cybersecurity, capacity development and responsible entrepreneurship.
The partnership was discussed when the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of SMEDAN visited the EFCC office in Abuja.
The collaboration will provide opportunities for young Nigerians to acquire relevant skills, promoting responsible entrepreneurship and greater awareness of cybersecurity risks.
Both agencies are also expected to leverage their respective mandates and expertise to support capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening the participation of youths and small and medium enterprises in the Nigerian economy.
The partnership underscores the need for stronger institutional cooperation in addressing emerging challenges facing young entrepreneurs, particularly those relating to financial crimes, digital security and responsible business practices.
