The Ekiti State Government has released the first batch of 500 successful candidates shortlisted for appointment as teachers under the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EK-SUBEB).
The Permanent Secretary of EK-SUBEB, Mr Mike Omolayo, disclosed this in a statement, directing the successful candidates to report to the office of the Director of Administration and Supply, EK-SUBEB, by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, to collect their appointment letters.
According to the statement, the candidates are required to come along with their original academic and other relevant credentials for verification before their appointment letters would be handed over to them.
Recall that the state government had, a few months ago, announced the recruitment of teachers into the public basic education sector, with 1,918 applicants reportedly meeting the required cut-off mark for the exercise.
