The National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sultan Bello, has resigned his membership of the party with immediate effect.
Bello announced his resignation in a letter dated September 24, 2026, addressed to the Chairman of the Ja’oji Gyadi Gyadi Arewa Ward in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.
He said the decision followed extensive consultations, careful consideration and deep personal reflection, adding that it was not taken lightly. Bello also expressed appreciation to the ADC for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the growth of the party.
The former youth leader further thanked his principal, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, for his guidance, trust and support. He also appreciated the party’s leadership, stakeholders, members and supporters, while requesting that his name be removed from the ADC membership records with immediate effect.
