The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has congratulated the 7th Ekiti State House of Assembly speaker, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bolaji Olagbaju and members of the Assembly on their inauguration on 6th June, 2023.
In a statement made available to Journalists by, Lawrence Ibitoye, said Comrade Ogunmilugba described the emergence of Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye representing Ikole Constituency 2 and her Deputy representing Ado Constituency 2 as a welcome development to deepen good governance in Ekiti State .
The LCDA Boss described Hon. Aribasoye as a guru who understands the nitty-gritty of legislation having served the assembly in different capacities before his elevation while the Deputy Speaker has served as Senior Adviser to the wife of former Governor of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi- Adeleye Fayemi. Saying the duo had gathered enough experiences to lead the Assembly right.
He added that the new speaker is a progressive party man whose leadership would complement and aid the progressive activism and good governance of Governor Biodun Oyebanji .
The Ifeloju LCDA chairman advised the leadership of the house to consolidate the achievements of the sixth assembly, surpass it and further intensify efforts to sponsor bills and enact laws that will further make Ekiti people enjoy dividends of Democracy.
He called on the Assembly members to work in tandem with the visions of Governor Oyebanji for the good people of Ekiti State.
While congratulating the new Assembly members, Comrade Ogunmilugba prayed God to give them sound health and wisdom to represent their various Constituencies well .
Meanwhile, Comrade Ogunmilugba appreciated Hon.Yemi Osatuyi and Hon. Reuben Awoyemi who represented Oye Constituency 2 and 1 in the sixth Assembly for their unflinching support towards the LG/ LCDA and for keeping APC members together.
He hinted that Hon. Yemi and Reuben’s contributions had helped to position the party well in the constituencies. He wished them well in their future endeavours .
