The Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, Ogundare on Thursday hosted Journalists across the state at the Police Military Emergency Service Support (MESS) in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
CP Ogundare who reinstated the command’s commitment to providing adequate security in the state, promised to make Ekiti free of nefarious activities
The programme was attended by management team and Senior police officers across the state, CP Ogundare noted that the force would continually put in more efforts to combat crimes in the state.
He also commended the leadership of NUJ for building good relationship and collaboration with the command saying the partnership had yielded positive results.
In his response, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalist,(NUJ), Ekiti State Council, Kayode Babatuyi, appreciated the CP for the honour and exuded confidence in the commitment of his members towards projecting the activities of the command in a good way to the world.
