Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of secretaries for the sixteen local government councils and twenty two Local Council Development Areas in the state.
S.A media to the governor, Yinka Oyebode disclosed this in a statement made available on Saturday.
You will recall that the inauguration of chairmen and vice chairmen of the councils were held on 4th January, 2024. Barely a week, secretaries were also appointed .
The Governor has directed that the newly appointed secretaries be inaugurated in their respective councils on Monday, January 15, 2024.
While congratulating the new appointees, the Governor urged them to see their appointment as an opportunity to contribute their quotas to grassroots development.
Reminding the new appointees that Oyebanji’s administration is committed to all round development in line with its shared prosperity agenda, urged them that local government administration is partners in progress.
