In a resolute stance against the recent surge of violence in Ekiti State, the distinguished Member of the House of Representatives representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II), Hon. Akinlayo Kolawole has strongly condemned the brutal killing of two revered Monarchs –Onimojo of Imojo, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola, and Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola.
The monarchs tragically fell victim to kidnappers along the Oke Ako-Ipao road in Ikole Local Government area.
Describing the acts as barbaric, Hon. Akinlayo Kolawole unequivocally condemns these tragic events, including the distressing kidnapping of school pupils.
In reassurance to the people of Ekiti State, the Akinlayo noted that a comprehensive investigations into the matter is currently ongoing, assuring that justice will be served to the perpetrators.
In a statement signed and issued to the Press by AKINLAYO Media team, the Reps Membet acknowledged the commitment of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to protecting lives and properties of the people, affirming that robust measures are being implemented to fortify the state’s security architecture.
