The Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ekiti state Wing, Comrade Bamidele Olaitan Daodu has commiserated with the Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji and the people of Ekiti on the sudden death of the state Chairman of All Progressives Congress( APC), Barrister Paul Omotosho on Wednesday.
Comrade Daodu who empathized with the governor, said the death of the party Chairman was a colossal loss not only to Ekiti State but the governor who had on several occasions referred to the deceased as a; truthful, loyal, dedicated and progressive party leader.
While commiserating with
the immediate family of the deceased, his community, Imesi Ekiti, Comrade Daodu prayed God to give them the courage to bear the loss. The NUT chairman noted in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti that the cordial relationship between the governor and Barrister Paul Omotosho necessitated various developments and peace witnessed in the state.
The statement reads in part ” The sudden death of a performing party Chairman of APC in Ekiti State was painful; no doubt, the governor will feel this but I pray God comfort him and the good people of the state. The teachers in Ekiti share in your grieve sir at this moment.”
