Agro Marshal Commander, Ekiti State, Commander Olamide Oni has paraded five suspects for crime ranging from rape, theft and assault.
Parading the suspects on Tuesday, in Ado Ekiti, commander Oni said three of the suspects attempted to rape, one assaulted official of Agro Marshals and the other carted away provisions of her master, opened provision shop and used the proceeds to buy tricycle .

Ayodele Ajele, 45, a native of Epe Ekiti in Ijero Local Government, was arrested when he attempted to rape a widow of 61 years of age in her bedroom, tore the woman’s undies and dragged out a knife to stab her before he was arrested .
During interrogation, the suspect claimed he loved the woman but did not know how to express his feelings to the widow.
The suspect confessed that he committed the offense. He said that whenever he wanted to carry out the illicit act, he would take India hemp.
The 61 year woman confirmed that Ayodele tore her undies with the intension of raping her. According to her” It took the intervention of my last born and people around to over power Ayodele before he left me and ran away ”
Sunday Abiodun, a native of Igbemo Ekiti was alleged to have attempted to rape 85 years old blind woman . He was alleged to have succeeded in carting away the clothes and jewelries of the old woman.
Upon interrogation, Abiodun denied the allegation, saying he used to run errands for the old woman.

Upon interrogation, the suspect denied the allegation and said he could not prevent the Agro Marshals from doing their work.
The fifth suspect called Promise Odete works for a woman in Ado supermarket, he was said to have specializes in stealing the provision of the woman and went to establish his own supermarket where he sells the provisions . He went to buy tricycle from the proceed of the provisions.
Responding, Promise Odete said he worked with FAKES Supermarket and admitted that he carted the provisions of the shop on daily basis to his personal shop at ABEKOKO. He said he was lured by his brother, Chikaso.
The commander said all the suspects would be handed over to the police for further investigation. While calling on residents of Ekiti to provide the corps with useful information that will lead to criminally minded people who are head bent in truncating the peace of Ekiti state.
