The Ekiti State Governor- elect , Mr Biodun Oyebanji has further reiterated his promise to always carry along party leaders, traditional leaders, relevant stakeholders in the affairs of the state to enhance more development .
Mr Oyebanji made the promise as his “thank you tour ” to the sixteen local government Areas of the state entered second day stressed that he would govern with the fear of God, Saying he would be Governor to all irrespective of Political parties.
The Governor – elect, the Deputy Governor – elect, Mrs Monisade Afuye, APC state Chairman Mr Paul Omotosho and some party leaders visited Moba and Ido-Osi Local Government Areas where they appreciated the people for voting en mass for APC during the just concluded election.
Oyebanji and his entourage while in the palaces of Oore of Otun and Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti assured the traditional rulers that his administration would not undermine them in the scheme of things, saying their welfare would be prioritised.
While responding, the Oore of Otun, Oba Adeagbo and the Olojudo, Oba Ilori Faboro assured the Governor- elect of their total support to move the state forward in all spheres.The Obas prayed for the Governor – elect to succeed in office.
Addressing party members at Otun and Ido Ekiti, Mr Oyebanji assured the people good governance that would benefit all and sundries. Saying his government would always empower the artisans, market women and Drivers Union among others.
Earlier, the APC State Chairman, Mr Paul Omotosho had thanked the people of Otun and Ido for ensuring the victory of APC, assuring them that APC government would not disappoint them.
