The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Ekiti State, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has again assured the residents of his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, emphasizing that the people of Moba will not be disappointed in their expectations for impactful governance.
In an interview, Hon. Fadugba pointed out that his election was a direct result of the trust and confidence the people of Moba reposed in him.
He vowed to justify this trust by ensuring that the local government experiences significant progress and development under his leadership.
Hon. Fadugba specifically mentioned the rehabilitation of the high-tension power line supplying electricity along the Otun-Iro-Osan road, a project supported by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The chairman lamented that the residents of the areas had been without stable electricity for several years, causing significant hardship, expressing optimism that the rehabilitation efforts would improve the quality of life for the residents of the communities.
In addition to addressing the electricity challenges, Hon. Fadugba proudly noted the successful repair of the road that runs through the Otun Ekiti main market.
He explained that the road, which had long been in a state of disrepair, had been fixed to provide much-needed relief to traders and commuters.
The Moba LG boss reassured the people that his administration is committed to tackling other critical infrastructural needs, stating that additional value-added projects would be executed in due course.
Hon. Fadugba underscored his administration’s priority on meeting the basic needs of the people, which he believes are essential for fostering sustainable development in the local government.
He pledged to remain focused on projects that directly impact the lives of the residents, ensuring that every action taken aligns with the collective welfare of the Moba community.
Speaking on his recent recognition during the Osan Ekiti Cultural Day, Hon. Fadugba expressed deep gratitude for the award of excellence bestowed upon him.
He could not hide his excitement for being honoured among the distinguished personalities celebrated during the event, noting that the recognition serves as further motivation to continue serving his people with dedication.
The chairman particularly appreciated the organizers of the award, Mrs Bankole Felicia, HRM Oba Tajudeen Bamidele Jimoh, Atayese 1 the Olosan of Osan Ekiti and all the Chiefs for acknowledging his contributions to the development of Moba Local Government, especially for being the pride of his hometown of Osan Ekiti.
He reiterated his commitment to upholding the values that earned him the recognition and to ensuring that the progress witnessed so far is sustained and expanded.
