Barely twenty-four hours after the death of renowned televangelist Dr. Umai Upai, the first Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Bishop Emeritus Michael Olatunji Fagun, has passed away.
Bishop Fagun, who was ordained a priest in 1965, served in various capacities within the Church and was later posted to Ado-Ekiti, where he laid the foundation for the growth of Catholicism in the state.
He was widely respected for his decades of devoted service and spiritual leadership.
