Otunba Adeboro, in a goodwill message made available to journalists, eulogised the former governor for his “giant strides in the development of Ekiti State, his unmistakable footprint in national politics, and his enviable mastery of grassroots mobilisation,” noting that Fayose’s ability to connect with the masses “has earned him love, admiration, and respect across political divides.”
While appreciating the former Governor for given him opportunity to serve, Otunba Adeboro said he cherished the cordial working relationship with the former governor, adding that he will always reverend him as a genuine leader. He prayed that God would continue to strengthen the former governor with good health, wisdom, and renewed energy as he advances in age.
“Dr. Fayose is a man of uncommon courage, a leader who believes in his people and stands firmly by them. His contributions to the political landscape of our dear state and the nation at large are undeniable. On this milestone, I pray that God grants him more grace, sound health, and long life,” he said.

Otunba Adeboro also applauded the leadership style of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, describing him as a “true Omoluabi and a unifier” whose political inclusivity has fostered peace and strengthened bonds among all former governors and political leaders in Ekiti.
According to him, Governor Oyebanji’s style has not only earned Ekiti a positive reputation globally but has also attracted unprecedented infrastructural development and stability to the state.
“Governor Oyebanji’s remarkable ability to build bridges, unify leaders, and promote harmony is a blessing to Ekiti. His commitment to collective progress and his Omoluabi ethos has given our state a refreshing, just few days ago the governor got the approval of Federal government to fix : Itawure- Aramoko- Ado and Aramoko- Ijero- Ado roads. Today, Ekiti is known for peace, development, and leadership maturity,” Adeboro stated.
Reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the governor’s second-term ambition, Adeboro declared that Governor Oyebanji would record a historic landslide victory in the 2026 governorship election.
“Without a doubt, Governor Oyebanji will win again—and he will win resoundingly. It will be 16–0. I call on all Ekiti residents to be part of history by joining the growing army of Oyebanji supporters. Let us work together to deliver another sweeping victory that will consolidate the progress we are witnessing across the state,” he added.
