The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government Area, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has expressed confidence that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will secure a landslide victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary scheduled for October 27, 2025.
Speaking during a media chat with journalists, Fadugba commended the governor’s outstanding performance in office, noting that his people-focused programmes and visible achievements across critical sectors have endeared him to the electorate.
He highlighted Oyebanji’s successful implementation of the administration’s six foundational pillars — infrastructure development, human capital empowerment, agriculture and rural development, good governance, and social investments — which, according to him, have brought tangible improvements to the lives of Ekiti citizens.
“From road projects to workers’ welfare, from education to healthcare, and from youth empowerment to community development, the administration of BAO has delivered on its promises. The people see the results and they stand firmly with him,” Fadugba said.
The council chairman further noted that Oyebanji’s wide acceptance transcends the state, pointing to the massive show of solidarity during the governor’s visit to the APC national secretariat in Abuja to submit his intent form.
“The unprecedented crowd that accompanied Governor Oyebanji to Abuja was not just about numbers but a clear demonstration of love, trust, and confidence in his leadership. It is a strong pointer to a seamless and convincing re-election,” he added.
Fadugba urged APC members across the state to work in unity and ensure Oyebanji’s victory at the primary, describing him as a humble, visionary, and people-centered leader whose second term would consolidate on the gains of his administration.
“With Governor Oyebanji, Ekiti has a leader who is sincere, accessible, and results-driven. His continuity in office will further strengthen development across the state. We must all rally behind him and give him full support,” Fadugba affirmed.
