Spirited members of APC LIKEMINDZ in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State, has congratulated the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi on his 59th birthday and leadership Awards bestowed on Dr. OluwaFemi Babalola.
The group in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Sunday, congratulated and commended the duo who are from Oye Local Government. Congratulating the former Governor, former Minister of Mines and Still and former chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum for his leadership prowees which the group noted , has not only brought rapid development to Ekiti state but encouraged many Nigerian vibrant youths into progressive politics.
The group described the former Governor as a leader of repute, a progressives to the core, a scholar of International repute and a selfless leader who has worked and still working for the development of Ekiti state and Nigeria at large. While praying God to bestow Dr Fayemi sound health and long life to further contribute to national growth, the group wished him God’s divine grace to celebrate many years on earth.
According to the group” Dr Fayemi’s legacies in Ekiti state and Nigeria cannot be forgotten, especially the establishment of Local Council Development Areas in Ekiti state has not only brought governance closer to the grassroot; the masses have been enjoying dividends of democracy necessitated by the rapid developments in the third tiers of government in the state. Dr. Fayemi clocked 59 years on 9th February, 2024.
Also, the group felicitated the former President, Ilupeju Development Association, Dr OluwaFemi Babalola on the Awards bestowed on him by Federal University of Oye Ekiti and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (Progress FM) Ado Ekiti on 8th and 6th February, 2024 respectively.
On 6th February, the management of Progress FM, Ado Ekiti, honoured Dr Femi Babalola at the celebration of its 21st year of establishment in Ekiti state. Also the management of Federal University of Oye Ekiti at her 8th convocation ceremony on 8th February honoured Dr Babalola for his unwavering dedication to human and community developments.”It’s on this note, we congratulate a worthy leader whose exemplary leadership, intelligence, unflinching support for human and community developments are worthy of emulation” We prayed God spare, grant you sound health and mind to continue selfless services to humanity” We are proud of you always, the Statement concluded.
