Former Senator who represented Ekiti North Senatorial District in the 6th Assembly , Senator Ayo Arise has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025 by Leadership Newspaper.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Thursday, Senator Arise described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Oyebanji’s outstanding leadership and developmental strides across Ekiti State.
Arise applauded the governor for his transformative policies and people-oriented programmes that have positively impacted residents and enhanced the state’s reputation both nationally and internationally.
According to him, the recognition by Leadership Newspaper further affirms the governor’s commitment to purposeful governance and sustainable development.
“A golden fish has no hiding place,” Arise said, noting that Governor Oyebanji has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership marked by humility, integrity, and genuine love for Ekiti State.
He added that the several awards received by the governor since assuming office are clear indications that his administration has performed creditably well.
The former lawmaker, urged the governor not to relent in his efforts to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people. He also prayed for God to grant him sound health, wisdom, and strength to continue his developmental agenda for the state.
