Less than 48 hours to the commencement of 2023, presidential campaign, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has appointed Former senate President, Bukola Saraki, Anyim Pius Anyim, Ologunsoye Oyinlola and others as Special Advisers to strengthening his campaign .
The Media Adviser to Atiku, Paul Ibe, disclosed this in a statement on Monday. According to the statement the former vice president appointed former Senate Presidents, Dr. Bukola Saraki, as Special Envoy to the presidential candidate and Senator Pius Anyim, as Special Adviser.
Former governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Senator Ehigie Uzamere were also appointed as Special Advisers
Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, was appointed as Technical Adviser to the presidential candidate.
The appointments are with immediate effect.
The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar charged the new appointees to use their vast political experiences to ensuring PDP presidential campaign records outstanding success in 2023 election.
