It was a carnival-like event, as the senior special Assistant to the wife of Ekiti State Governor, Hon Toyin Adepoju visited her ward to empower widows, young women and youths with different materials such as Pumping machines, Spraying machines, Food items and Cash gifts.
The event which was performed at the ijigbo in Ado Ekiti, coincided with the monthly meeting of APC Ado ward 4 with its maiden edition in the year 2025.
Hon Adepoju said that her visit to APC ward 4 was borne out of the incredible performance of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and the support of the first lady of Ekiti State, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji to the present administration.
She described her principal, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji as a passionate woman whose main priority was to ensure that poverty became a thing of the past through some pet projects that had been carried out in her office like the upkeep of the windows, Aged and Orphans WAOH, Adire Ekiti among others.
The Special Adviser on Political matters also used the platform to highlight the achievements of the state Governor which she described as unprecedented in the history of the state and solicited the continuous support of the party members to ensure the realization of the Governor’s second term ambition.
She therefore reiterated that her giving back to her ward and her community would be a continuous one as she reeled out some of the empowerment she has embarked on since her appointment in 2022.
In their goodwill messages, some of the leaders of APC Ado Ekiti local government and ward 4 Hon Mike Akinleye, Hon Ademola Adetola and Alhaji Teslim Animasahun commended Hon Toyin Adepoju and described her as a worthy ambassador of ward 4 and Ado Ekiti.
They called on other political office holders to emulate the gesture so that other members of the party can benefit from the dividend of democracy.
Some of the beneficiaries described the gesture of Hon Toyin Adepoju as divine as they never expected such empowerment at this crucial moment as it would go a long in cushioning the economic effect of the country and they promised to always support the government of BAO and to work tirelessly in ensuring the second term bid of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
