The Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos on Friday has discharged and acquitted a former Governor of the state, Jonah Jang and a former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the state government, Yusuf Pam over N6.3 billion corruption charges levelled against the duo by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC)
The court was presided over by Justice Christy Dabup.The trial judge, Justice Christy Dabup, said the date will be communicated to the parties involved in the suit.
The court arrived at the decision after the prosecution and the defence counsel adopted their written addresses.
