The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has congratulated Muslim faithful in the LCDA, Ekiti State, and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement on Thursday, Hon. Oniyelu described Eid-el-Mubarack as a season of spiritual renewal, reflection, sacrifice, and gratitude, called on Muslims to embrace the values of love, peace, and unity which Sallah represents.
“I heartily congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ifeloju LCDA and across the country on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir,” he said. “This sacred season reminds us of the importance of faith, perseverance, and the shared bonds of humanity.”
While appreciating the Muslims, especially the Alfas, Imams for their prayers and cooperation in Ifeloju LCDA, Hon Oniyelu urged them to remember the LCDA and governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji in their prayers during the festive period, saying Ifeloju needs more development ditto Ekiti state.
Hon. Oniyelu also urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace, development, and continued unity in Nigeria. He emphasized the need for tolerance, mutual respect, and compassion among all religious and ethnic groups in the country.
“As we mark this important celebration, I encourage all residents to uphold the spirit of brotherhood and remain committed to building a more prosperous and united Ifeloju LCDA and Ekiti state, Let us continue to live in harmony and extend helping hands to those in need, especially in these trying times,” he added.
He further assured the people of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti of his administration’s continued dedication to grassroots development, prayed Allah to spare them to celebrate many fruitful Sallah .
