The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has congratulated residents of Ifeloju LCDA, Ekiti State and Nigerians at large on the celebration of Christmas, marking the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas message made available to journalists, Hon. Oniyelu described the season as a period of love, sacrifice, humility and selfless service, urging residents to reflect these timeless virtues in their daily lives. He encouraged people to celebrate in moderation and extend hands of fellowship and compassion to the less privileged in their communities, noting that sharing and caring remain the true essence of Christmas.
The chairman assured residents of Ilupeju Ekiti, Itapa, Osin, Ijelu and Omu Ekiti of adequate security before, during and after the festive period, stressing that his administration is working closely with security agencies and community stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free celebration across the LCDA.



Hon. Oniyelu also used the opportunity to express deep appreciation to political leaders, community heads, traditional rulers and religious leaders within the LCDA for their unwavering support and cooperation. He noted that their collective support has been instrumental to the achievements recorded by his administration in the last two years, particularly in the areas of grassroots development, peace and community cohesion.
While wishing residents a joyful Christmas celebration, the chairman prayed for continued peace, unity and progress in Ifeloju LCDA, Ekiti State and the nation at large. He reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented governance and sustainable development, urging residents to remain hopeful and united as they celebrate the season.
