The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has extolled the peaceful co-existence of muslims and Christians in the LCDA which has resulted to unfettered development.
He charged the muslims faithful to use the Eld-el-Kabir celebration which is the hallmark of sacrifice, kindness, genuine love and prayers to resonate in their daily lives for the peace and development of Ifeloju LCDA, Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
Comrade Ogunmilugba in a statement congratulated the muslims faithful for witnessing this year’s Eld-el-Kabir in sound health, urging them to pray for the speedy completion of the LCDA secretariat that is ready for ground breaking and economic recovery of Nigeria.
The LCDA boss enjoined them to extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged as exemplified by Prophet Mohammad who lived for the downtrodden.
While appreciating the prayers and contributions of the chief Imams of : Ilupeju Ekiti, Itapa, Osin, Ijelu and Omu, the Chairman promised to always accord them their rightful place in the LCDA. Adding that the prayers of the clergy and imams have made the LCDA not only peaceful but progressive in all areas.
Comrade Ogunmilugba further assured inhabitants of Ifeloju LCDA of adequate security of lives and properties as they celebrate Sallah. He wished them Happy Sallah, prayed Allah to spare them to celebrate many Eld-el-Kabir on Earth in comfort and peace of mind.
