The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, CP Joseph Eribo, on Thursday, decorated newly promoted officers of the Command during the CP’s Conference and Mess Gathering held at the Officers’ Mess Auditorium, Ado-Ekiti.
In his remarks at the event, CP Eribo congratulated the promoted officers and urged them to see their elevation as both a motivation and an added responsibility. He reminded them that promotion comes with greater expectations and challenged them to rededicate themselves to effective service delivery, emphasizing that “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
In a statement by SP Abutu Sunday, ANIPR Police Public Relations Officer said, CSP Benjamin Faleyimu expressed gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; the Police Service Commission; and the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for finding them worthy of promotion. He also appreciated the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police and other senior officers for their consistent support and mentorship.
Faleyimu, on behalf of his colleagues, pledged renewed commitment to upholding the ethics and standards of the Nigeria Police Force, assuring that they would continue to serve with integrity and professionalism.



The newly promoted officers are:
i. CSP Benjamin Faleyimu – Admin Officer, Operations Department
ii. SP Ajata Olutayo – Officer-in-Charge, Transport Unit
iii. SP Odio Kingsley Chidiebere – Divisional Police Officer, Isan-Ekiti
